Has anyone grown this one? I ran across it on the Lazy S'S website, when I was looking to replace my Rose of Sharon 'Freedom'. I love the variegated foliage, but I'm wondering about the bloom color. 'Freedom' was described as "red", but turned out to be lavendar/mauve. I want to be sure what I replace it with is not going to be pink or purple. This bed is mostly hot colors, lots of reds, and yellows. I am also considering 'Lord Baltimore' or 'Fireball', but I really like the foliage on the 'Purpureua Variegata'.
Thanks, Bonnie
