Hello all First time on this forum Big box store has most of their shrubs 75% off. I wanted something to kind of hide my small fenced in front yard.
So what will "go" with these 3 ??? what about the two golden Euronomous I bought too?
Didn't want any pine family since I have fruit trees nearby and in fenced area? should I plant all 3 in a row or alternate the Euronomous???? Or what ???? Suggestions please.
Oh its the area front of the fence to the street where presently I have a formerly light cedar pole.
the small fence is to deter any cats and dogs and other wildlife out. Course blasted squirrels it doesn't deter much. Perhaps barb wire???for them??
I put one willow in lst nite about 4 feet from driveway and four feet in front of fence.
kind of hoping you all will chime in before I plant rest.
Hers pic of area
front yard 9 9 09 wow
Thanks
Jean

Both yellow euonymus and blue willow go well with purple-leaved shrubs.

You should never be without viburnum. There are plenty to choose from, and they will be quite in scale with the willows you've already purchased.

Please don't fall for the multi-colored foliage plants - most of which don't provide much else of value. You'll soon tire of their monotony. Choose plants that give you interest from flowers, fruit, and fall color, and that support native wildlife like birds, bees, and other insects that keep the local ecology happy and healthy.
