Will My Wax Mrtles Survive?

Hi Everyone.
I am new to gardening and about 5 months ago I planted 4 Wax Myrtle shrubs in a FULL SUN area. Well, not realizing the shift of the sun(earth) during the fall winter months, I see now that they are only getting about 3 hours of direct sunlight due to huge pine trees next door and the shifting sun.
Will they make it until the full sun comes back or am I going to have leggy Wax Myrtles? I need them to get about 6 feet tall and thick for a privacy hedge.
Thanks!

They grow under pines in their native habitat so they will survive just fine, but they not be "full". Mine are growing under pine trees but some of them are about 20ft tall and are more like small trees.

Thanks AlabamaTreehugger! I think I might have to move them to a sunnier location and maybe plant something else there!

You could mix in some Yaupon holly, it grows fast and thick over here towards Pensacola. Carolina Cherry Laurel is another good screening plant. Keep in mind that wax myrtle can take some hard pruning, so if it starts getting leggy you can cut them back to make them grow fuller. I have cut some of mine completely to the ground and they come right back.
