| I believe this is considered more of a woodland shrub, not typically used in the residential landscape, but I have an area confined by concrete walkway and driveway, and I'm looking for something to fill in fast to block a neighbor's view.
Just wondering if anyone has experience with this shrub in my zone or colder zones, NOT the smaller 'Sem' variety, what can I expect for growth rate, height, width, etc. I'd like it to overspill a walkway, and a height of 8 feet would be spectacular...wondering if this is a realistic expectation? |

| Likes a moist, well drained soil. Suckers like crazy...not as much in our clay soils. Its considered a "fast" grower. Expect 6ft in height....8ft tall is a stretch in SE WI. Width of 8ft is attainable. |

| I would agree, about 6 ft. in height and suckers rapidly. Beautiful in bloom. |

| Do you want to block your view of the neighbors, or the neighbor's view of you and your garden? Sorbaria drops its leaves at first frost and is late to leaf out, so the screen from the neighbors will be temporary at best. It will be 6 to 7 feet high and as wide as you let it get. |
