Shear them down to a common height in the Spring!

They may not look so good for a few weeks, but if they are already well established, they'll come back really full.

I cut mine down to about 6 inches this last Spring because they got leggy. They look great now!

That is what I was going to do but read online that you should not shear them.

Cut the individual trunks if you like instead of shearing them. I cut the larger ones a little shorter than the small ones so that everything will be even when they grow out.

If there are marked differences between them before pruning re-growth afterward will not be completely matched either.
