White Flowering ID on Shrub Please!

Hello, I have this shrub, and I'm not sure what it is, a gardenia, camellia? It blooms often. Even in December! It has largeish white flowers and dark green leaves. Here is a pic:

It's a Camellia, but not sure it's C. japonica.

Mine was also in bloom this December.

Looks like a C. sasanqua type. Could be hybrid too. Is it in a pot? Get that thing in the ground this Spring! It has the capacity to grow nice and big!

how in the heck did i guess that.. lol ...

its getting pretty big for the pot its in

can you get it in mother earth this spring ... PROPER planting time is coming up soon ... [though i am guessing for a camelia .. MI dont do such .. lol] .. research proper timing if no one chimes in ...
