Kind of a weird one, but at least those containing herbs, you should be able to add to the pile. I'm sure I've done so, but on a very limited basis, at least once or twice. A whole bunch of them seems off somehow but should in fact not be a problem.

Herbal supplements, definitely. Vitamins, probably no harm in small quantities at a time. Most things decompose in the compost, but I don't know about vitamins. Only potential problem would be whether they have any effect on plants if they don't decompose completely. I have no idea.

Vitamins should be crushed and be dissolved in water and then added to the soil. That way you wouldn't have to worry about the issue of "burning " the plants when applying the compost. Just my opinion, defanitly wouldn't toss em in the landfill

Anything that was once alive, can/will live again in the compost as decomposed by bacteria and other micro-organisms.

Also, if your compost pile is big enough, and turned regularly, it will heat up, binding any toxins in there to the long carbon chains, rendering the toxins inert and therefore harmless.

In short, yes. You may put it in the compost. The capsules they are in will melt with the moisture.
