Hatched reptile eggs - compost or no?

I had a shed removed and found a bunch of hatched reptile (probably snake) eggs in the soil under it. Could I compost them or should I just throw them in the trash?

I agree, compost.
How much/many did you find?

Looked like there were 2 separate clutches, a couple dozen total about an inch to inch and a half long. I haven't seen any actual snakes around, but they were too big to be anole eggs I think. The composter is a 71-gallon STC Ecomposter 33301 if the size matters at all.
