That stuff is of great value to gardeners. I sure wish I was close enough to come help haul some of it away.

I would think it would be great for composting and also for spreading as a top dressing to let the worms finish it into castings.

You might be able to wholesale it to landscape companies that could retale it as a lawn dressing. Seems like 100% profit margin on something you thought was a liability?

Gosh, I would love to find something like that to mulch my garden. I put mulch over newspaper, and try to find mulch that breaks down fairly quickly. I wish I lived closer.
Where would I look to find something like that near where I live?

Put an ad on freecycle.
Put an ad on craigslist.
Send emails to all the gardening clubs in the area.
Put a "free soil amendments" sign at your curb.

Could make good humus, if not a balanced compost.
Add some granite dust,gypsum,Azomite,Zeolites, & Microorganisms.

You should bag it and sell it as "Fine Mulch".

You need to be more specific about what this material is. Are they BARK fines? If so, what kind of wood are they from? 'Cause conifer bark fines, especially of a certain size, are extremely valuable as a major component in highest quality potting mixes.

If it's the right stuff, you sure shouldn't have to give it away, but could make a bit of money on it.

I would love some of these, wish I lived near Joppa, MD.

There are many egg farms in your area. Mixing the mulch fines with the chicken manure is a perfect solution. Mass compost.
