| Has anyone ever composted school milk cartons? They have a coating of wax so I don't know how that would break down. Thanks! |

| Some years ago we had grade school kids start plants in those 1/2 pint milk cartons, after the cartons were rinsed really well, and found that not only did they hold up really good from seed start to planting in the garden, but in the garden they lasted until removed the following growing season. Keep in mind that they are meant to contain a liquid for quite some time. |
