| Can I use algae mixed with grass clippings and leaves as sheet compost on my garden? My pond is full of the stuff and I can pull it out with a rake. I don't know if it is safe for vegetables, including root vegies. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks |

| As long as it is not one of the toxic algaes that have been forming on lakes and ponds in the last few years, that algae could be a good addition to your compost. |
