| Any issues with throwing the pruning scraps from my clematis in my new composter? What about all my other perennials - in general - can all their trimmings that are dead from winter be composted?
Sorry for all the questions - just don't want to screw this up! :) |

| Technically, anything that was once growing can be composted.......certainly clematis prunings and clean up from the perennial bed would be included. Unless you are managing a hot pile, I might avoid any obviously diseased plant material or weeds with seeds present. FWIW, it's pretty hard to screw up composting :-) Dead plants and plant parts rot! |
