My Cat died Monday. She had stopped eating and I had opened 3 different, very high quality, cans of cat food in an effort to entice her to eat. I hate to just throw them out now. Can I put them in the compost bin?

Sorry about your cat. You can put the food in the compost. It's very high in nitrogen, so make sure you cover it with high carbon matter.

Leaves are perfect...grind them up the very best you can to avoid clumpy results.
