Is that what you call 'cheep' labor?

RE: Sifting made easy!

Not such a bird-brained idea. Doesn't take a lot of scratch, and saves a peck of work. Glad you could pullet off.

Easier than henny other idea I've seen. Good cluck to you.

Sifting isn't all too much trouble. It's the turning that gets tedious. :-)

Looks like team work to me.
Where is that lazy roaster at?

RE: Sifting made easy!

The third and largely unnecessary bird is obviously featherbedding.

Not a peep from me.

Why, are you too chicken?

 o
RE: Sifting made easy!

Never thought I'd get such poultry attempts at humor!

Eggzactly so.

 o
RE: Sifting made easy!

Which came first? The chicken or the gag?

 o
RE: Sifting made easy!

They are working hard, there is no laying about.

Hey, folks, this forum is about the discussion of soils and compost. We need to get back to talking turkey.

You guys are too mulch!

Sorry, it's the best I could do.

schreber_gaertner, I totally agree with putting chickens to work. This weekend I had to move my 3' x 9' composter & needed to empty it out first. I made several piles of compost in different areas of the yard and left it for the chooks who worked very hard & spread it out for me. They're such hard workers.

Anyway, glad to see someone else putting their chickens to work. It's really true that birds of a feather flock together.
