| Hi - we extended our in-ground vegetable garden this year and so I'll need to buy compost for the new area (the old area could use some as well). I found some freebies and some non-freebie suppliers online. What questions should I be asking about the compost before purchasing? Thanks for your help! |

| personally I would ask to see the product first If it looks and smells good, I would take it. I've asked questions first and only have been dissapointed on delivery buyer beware |

| darth_weeder could you tell us you were disappointed how? What part of the compost was not satisfying? the smell? the texture? the moisture? |
