| Long story short, I have a bag of mushrooms for the Asian market I have no interest in eating. Can I chop these up and add them to my soil? Or soak them in water and feed plants that way? Or will this cause mushrooms to grow?
Maybe I should mix them with some compost (I don't really have a compost, because my only leaves are from black walnuts, and I'm only going to be living here for a year)? I just feel that mushrooms could be really beneficial. |

| Those mushrooms could add a small amount of organic matter to your soil and you will not get more mushrooms from them. |
|
| That will definitely not gonna cause mushrooms to grow. And mushrooms not even in the plant kingdom, they are more to the bacteria side. |

| Awesome, I'm glad it won't produce (although I know it's fungi, I don't know how spores and all that actually function). Thanks! |
