Phone Book

Some dude came to my door and handed me two new phone books. I usually just dump them in the recycle bin but this time my 7 year old and I had a fun time shredding them and adding them to the compost bin.

I put one in the compost pile (unshredded) last spring and couldn't find a hint of its existence by the end of summer!

Phone books, like "land lines" and fax machines, are history.

I literally laugh when someone asks for my fax number or only gives the option to mail or fax something back. I always ask if they are serious. Sadly, they are.

I'm guessing you don't work for an underfunded government agency whose software and equipment is years out of date and which is required to keep all 'official' files in paper form. :-D

That's fine but let me fill in a paper form, scan it and email it back. If they need to print it then let them. Don't require me to have 1970's era hardware lying around.
