To embed images, you want to use html tags. The first one looks like this:

Wow- that is cuteness. And the most charming compost setup I have ever seen! Could you add some details on how you made the sections lock in place? Possibly post instructions to Instructables?

I live in a cohousing community and my personal compost pile is very public, and I would love to build something beautiful like that.

Nancy - if you look at the last pix, you should see little 1.5 x 1.5 x ~4 inch strips that each section's 4 sides are attached to (screw/nail). Not only do these strips hold the sides together, but they rest on the section below them... and the sides overlap the lower section's sides also. You should be able to see this design in that last pix.

The length of the strips should be about 2" less than the width of your section boards... placed so that there's about 1" space above and below... this allows the sections to stack and overlap.

Sorry - I drew up no plans... it was just a quick "on the fly" project with some scrap wood.

There's a WOW factor here, that's for sure. Nice job! You should patent this.

I'm full of admiration for someone with the skill to knock up (in the British sense!) something like this. But, as Fig says these are available in the UK, so a patent is probably not possible. However they are quite expensive so making your own is brilliant and you can make it the size you want. If you Google 'beehive composter' you will see the range of sizes and prices.
