Cocoa bean hulls

Have/are any of you using cocoa bean hulls in your compost piles.
I use it for mulch around my roses and else where but was wondering as Cocoa shell mulch contains 2.5% Nitrogen, 1% Phosphate, and 3% Potash has a pH factor of 5.8 if this would be a good mulch/compost item to put on top of my potatoes to help keep them covered?
I have mostly leaves covering them now but if I put a few bags of cocoa hulls over the leaves that should make a nice addition to the soil for next year.

Cocoa Bean hulls could be a good mulch, although quite expensive and potential extremely hazardous to many dogs that might eat what you put down. I would not spend my money purchasing this if I had other sources of material to use for mulch, if cocoa Bean hulss were available for free I might consider them.

Organic Gardening Magazine said the Cocoa bean hulls & shells are good for mulch & compost.
I never had any or meet anyone who has used them.
If they are half as good as my coffee chaff, then good find.
Let us know how they do for you.

My beloved Thalassa Cruso rates Cocoa bean hulls as top of the line mulch-wise. I'm jealous that you can consider them.
