Does anyone have experience using 100% cotton bed linens as mulch - wonder if it is effective for weed control and letting water through. Thanks in advance for your time.

Trust me, sheets will allow too much light through. Why would you not use cardboard instead?

Cotton bed sheets would work just as well as the inexpensive Landscape Fabrics. If you can see light through the fabric it is not dense enough to keep plants from growing since too much light can get through.
