Turkey Compost Use

Hello,

I've purchased some Turkey compost that has been aged. My question is should I mix it into the soil or just top dress around the plants? In the past I have always top dressed.

That can be done either way. Mixed into the soil will make the nutrients available to the plants quicker then applying it as mulch, but it will work both ways.
