Where to get dry material this time of year? Everything I cleaned up in my garden over a month ago is not enough, I need more carbon.

After I run out of fall leaves, I buy bales of straw at $7.50/bale. I use it for both my compost and as mulch in some areas. My tomatoes did well last year with straw mulch.

Colorado is beautiful country, with all the trees you should have tons of yard waste to use.
I am still picking up bagged leaves off the street.
Mainly because I am too lazy to cut the walk ways in the blueberry & blackberry patch.
