We just went to a very clean horse ranch that gave us a truckload of HOT manure!
We will be spreading this stuff out and using it in the garden as we can!
Learn to spread it and compost it!

Yeah its funny how its weird to ask for manure I have been around farms all my life and it still feels wierd to ask for poop(: Nancy is right though I would put money on them being glad to share

If you were buried in a constant supply of a 'waste' you would be happy to have people ask you if they could have some of it. All depends on your point of view.

Please be aware that some stables use lime to help control odor. Heavily limed manure might not be what you want. Be sure to ask if they use lime on the manure.

tox, that makes me think of the old joke about the chick that gets covered in poop, and in the squawking about it gets eaten by the barnyard cat.

Or the little boy that cleans out the stable full of manure like he's killing snakes. When asked what's the hurry he says, "With this much poop there's gotta be a pony somewhere in here."
