Mold growing on top of mulch?

So mold is growing on to p of my mulch in various places. Is this a bad thing? What should I do with/about it?
I'm thinking two things...
A. I'm loving on my garden beds too much, over watering, it's too damp.

B. The Sluggo that I put out in an attempt to murder the snails that have destroyed hundreds of dollars worth of plants, is now breaking down and molding. (most likely also because I could be over watering)

How should I fix this problem, if it's even a problem? Thanks in advance.

Generally mold on mulch isn't a problem. Do you have a pic? If you have a lot of slugs and the ground is always wet, I would cut back on the watering. In addition to the mold and slugs, overwatering is harmful to the plants.

In my rainy climate sluggo also molds, but it doesn't damage my plants because it's not on the plants, but on the soil.
