Composting multi vitamins with iron or calcium

Did you ever have vitamins that were expired or you did not want to take? What about composting them to give the soil more of something or other. What about calcium and iron pills. Why use garden iron that could have lead and arsenic? If it is iron pills or vitamins with iron it hopefully won't have any harmful elements. What about breakfast cereals that have vitamins and minerals like Total for example? If one compost a box of total what benefits could one get for the soil? My garden is doing great this year, and I credit it to years of composting. My soil is so rich that my plants can absorb the nitrogen and other things that they need. But, sometimes I think can I improve on perfection. I use a bin system. I would not suggest just burying the vitamins in the ground, that would be too condensed.

If you were going to throw the stuff out anyway it wouldn't do any harm to throw it in the compost pile. But if someone could still use it what a waste of money to put medicinal or food grade matter in a compost pile.

I think however, if I was using the compost for growing edibles, I would not use the iron with the lead and arsenic. But miracle grow has some iron.
