When there's spam

I would suggest that only 1 person make a reply, so that it can move down the page, get it reported, and then everyone make replies on the legitimate messages. That way it will quickly be moved off of page 1 and remove any encouragement for posting spam in the first place. If we post to it and keep it at the top of the page we are reinforcing spam behavior.

yes, I see your point, I won't reply on that anymore. I just thought it was funny from insane dot com.

Why reply at all? Just report it. Click the "contact us" link at the bottom of any GW page. Takes 10 seconds.

as purpleinopp says, just report it. The latest offending post is now inaccessible.

Better to have GW inactivate the post than to wait for it to move off the first page and hope no one will reply to it. GW wants to remove spam but they rely on us to let them know it's there - they can't monitor every forum all the time.

I did not know that Contact button was down there or that it should be used to report spam. I will certainly use that in the future.

Did I miss something?
