| Should I remove or just leave them be. If not good for compost , please describe how to remove them |

Would these be Slater Beetles, aka Woodlice or Pill Bugs, or Sow Bugs? These are digesters of decaying organic matter, primarily, although their presence in your compost pile may be an indication that the compost may not be getting digested properly. I seldom see them in my compost until it is about ready for use in the garden. |

| They don't eat as much as maggots which eat a huge amount of stuff. Pills bugs and earwigs are not problem at all. They are sometimes in finished compost, but not often excessively so. Are there are over running the whole thing? Or is it just a few of them? |
