| My tomatoes are taller than me! Compost! Even if you don't do a formal pile or bin. I've abandoned mine and now just bury my yard and garden waste right in the raised beds. It still works.
And really, I put this up just to say hi and give you all a picture of me in my garden. (Waves to Jon!) It's the first time anyone has taken a picture of my garden with me in it! heh |

| Hi Loribee, WOW...Your garden is absolutely fabulous ;-) Awesome harvest of beans too ! ! ! Did you wind up planting something in that open spot from a month ago ???? |
|
| Thanks, Jon! Yes, there is a costa romanesco zucchini plant in that spot that is due to flower any time now. And shortly, I'll be planting a few cabbage plants next to it. It's about time for me to get my fall crop in here. It's a challenge because with limited space, I've got to juggle my spring/summer/fall plantings. It's also very taxing on the soil, I imagine. |
