| Had my pile for coming on a year now; I keep adding to it. I decided to move it a little east of where it was to keep it more out of the neighbor's eyesight. Pitch fork and throw, pitch fork and throw; I turned to see some steam rising from the almost ground; put my hand in and felt the warmth.. this must be it I said to myself. The moist hot air rising was turning to steam as it reached the 78 degree air temp; I have succeeded. Success is counted sweetest by those who never succeed! |

| Great, that's great fun the first time. I like a crisp fall morning when the bins have just been filled with grass/leaves from mowing, and the steam is coming out of the pile into the morning sunlight. Happy composting! |
