| Many, if not most, golf courses are treated with a broad array of herbicides. I would be very cautious. |

| Some of those gold courses use pyridine family herbicides and these are very persistant. An article in the Oct/Nov 2011 issue of Organic Gardening magazine points out the problems these products bring about. |

| Having been involved with many golf courses (as a consultant) for years, I'd suggest that you don't even bother to ask what kind of chemicals they use on the grass. I'd simply not use it at all. Fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, miticides, nematicides, etc. They can legally use chemicals never labeled for public use. Some are contact poisons while others systemic. |
