What to do with my compost pile from last fall before this fall?

In my yard I collect the leaves each year with a custom leaf collector that I hook up to a wagon and pull behind my mower. It holds around 48 cubic feet of chopped leaves, and I get about 20 loads. Out of those, I used to just spread them around the woods. Now I use about 10 loads for multch, and I dump 10 loads in a compost pile. My compost isn't anything fancy, it's just a pile.

Right now, I have nearly complete compost. I'm wondering what to do with it before I start collecting leaves. Some ideas I was thinking of is dumping the new leaves in a new pile, putting the near compost in barrels to make room for new leaves, or moving the compost to my gardens after fall crop dies off.
