| A friend of mine is getting into the business of organic waste collection and processing, and is looking for resources to solve issues specific to commercial operations rather than backyard composting. Anyone know of a good discussion forum with that kind of membership? |

| You might suggest joining the US Composting Council. Don't know that they necessarily have any online discussion groups but seems like a good way to network with like-minded individuals/organizations and an excellent resource. |

| Thanks..noticed Ohio State Univ. is on the cover of this month's issue of Biocycle - right down the street from the lady I'm sending info to. :-] Another friend sent me a very interesting link to the discussion forums of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education - which sounds real academic, but the issues they deal with on campus - collecting organics, hauling, processing, signage, contamination, all that stuff - is all over their their Waste forum and they're the same types of issues you deal with anywhere, so it's perfect. |
