| I've been cleaning garden beds and some of them had moss. I scraped it off the top of the soil and through it into my wheelbaro of leaves and debrea.
Should it all be added to my compost pile or should the moss be picked out. My pile does not get real hot in the summer to kill it off. I'm just starting a new pile with lots of leaves for next year. I need to know!!! gmom

| I can't think of a single reason not to compost it. I do it and consider it a fine addition to the compost pile. |

| Moss is a plant and all plants, except Poison Ivy, Oak, or Sumac, can be composted. Add it to your compost. |
