I'm not really a fan of tumblers (actually a lot of other composters here don't recommend them). If you can possibly switch to a ground based pile or bin, I would recommend that. But if you like a tumbler, by all means. I haven't used or even seen that one in person so I couldn't say if it's a good one. They just seem to be expensive for what you get. I would look out for the quality of the base and the axle - a hollow steel tube is going to rust out pretty fast in that very biologically active environment.

I have used a Mantis twin composer for years. Although getting thermal compost is possible with a tumbler, it is very hard. I use mine to dump fall leaves ( collected and used throughout the summer) and kitchen scrapes/garden refuse. The cold composting takes much longer, but suits my style. When one bin gets full, I start filling the other. By the time both are full, the first bin is ready to be screened.
I'd love to have an on-the-ground pile, but there are too many varmints.
And, living near Denver too, my bins are frozen, rock solid. I'll keep adding, though, throughout the winter.
