Just saw a TV cameo about a woman and her daughter who take their compost 7 blocks (each way) to a compost bin in Vancouver, BC! They take it to a community garden area and are totally committed. Best of this: they don't even have a plot in this garden!

Those guys are really into it, just like so many of us here, I think. Good job.

Neat story. I take the newspaper home with me from the office to throw in the recycle bin (also been known to take the used coffee grounds home for my compost pile). Does that count? :-)

Try to get restaurants and other large feeding establishments to save their old coffee grounds for addition to your compost pile Grocery stores are also a good source of fruit and vegtable waste matter for addition to your pile.
