Hoffman's Cow Manure

I am using Hoffman's cow manure to mix in with my fall leaves in my compost pile. It says it is 1-1-1 Cow manure. What does this mean? Is it not 100% cow manure? THanks in advance.

I'm not familiar with the brand name, but I am aware that any commercially available bagged product labeled as manure has already been composted.

In other words, you're wasting your money adding it to a pile of leaves.

1-1-1 is the NPK rating, so it is 1% each of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Pretty standard for composted manure.

Allen is right, it should already be composted, so it will not add compostable organic matter to your leaf pile. It might add some microbes that will help get the decomposition going. You'd need fresh manure to really accelerate the process.

Some places list this as Hoffman's Dehydrated Cow Manure while others just list it as Hoffman's Cow Manure, but nowhere have I seen it listed as "Composted". I don't find whether this manure comes from feedlots or real farms but would suspect the feedlots.
I have used similar products, dehydrated cow and sheep manures, in the past in my compost with good results, as good as fresh manure.

I screened a bag of cow manure, wife loves using it on her flowers.
I do not think it was this brand.
After screening I found we just added about 40% small stones to her flowers, still she swears by it...ME I wont use it in my veggie garden any more, I have been using mushroom manure, along with home made compost.
