 o
stone sealer

I plan on putting a flagstone path through parts of my irrigated lawn. However, I don't want white mineral buildup on the stone. What is a good sealer for stone that does not make it look shiny or plastic looking? Or how else can I prevent buildup from the hard water?

RE: stone sealer

First off I would recommend not putting a sealer on at all, ask your stone retailer, he will probably say the same thing. If you think the mineral deposits are coming from the water then sealing the stone won't have that much effect. What is more than likely the situation you are thinking of is the efflouresence that appears on concrete materials, this comes from the concrete itself. It also diminishes over time.
My advice with a grain of salt!LOL
