| I'm a novice when it comes to computer use as well as with regards to building with stone. I've started a stone wall - dry laid, a combination of flagstone and what they called wall stone. I'm using the jigsaw puzzle approach, and am frustrated and a bit surprised at how danged tricky it is to get the stones to fit together without gaps. I'm delighted to discover you guys and hope you can give me some tips.
Thanks! |

| You need to use small stone chips to make things fit properly. Make sure that they are are angled into the wall, so that gravity won't make them just fall out. There are a few good ones out there, especially by David Reed (the art of stonescaping.) He has lots of great photos, and really, a picture is worth a thousand words. |
