| Hello,
I'm thinking of putting a basalt path around part of my house. I'm wondering if there are any special instructions for installing this path. Do I just purchase x amount of 5/8" - and pour it on, or is there any special preparation such as rolling the area beforehand or afterwards? Should I use 5/8- throughout? Also, is the basalt the best rock for this purpose? I do like the fact that it's black, and granite is a much lighter color... I'd like it to be as natural as possible, and it also needs to hold up to the snow. Any pictures that you might have of a similar path would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

| I think it's fair to say that after a few months nobody knows the answer to a question about basalt rock. |
