hello all!
my boyfriend has come into a large amt of bricks that he wishes to utilize for some kind of hardscape such as a walkway. however these bricks are the same bricks used in building houses. they are american made, and are of good quality. they have the holes in them where the mortar goes. our question is can these bricks be used for a walkway.....thank you in advance...michelle

Sure turn them on end, less coverage then flat and more work, but free is free.

THANK YOU BULLTHISTLE! You got to be a nice person...you have the same birthday as my boyfriend..... So turn them on end meaning upright not flat? Hmmm i will share that with him...Thank You again....Michelle

have the hole (frog) facing down or to the left or right not up and your away there really isn't anything else to worry about apart from getting them level. one thing to always have in mind is while laying them dont be too perfect they will completely change when they have the joints filled
