Stone Wall and Blue Spruce

Posted by misslucinda NY 6a (My Page) on

I have a 'farmer-built' stone wall on the corner of my property, perhaps 3 - 4 feet high and a maturing blue spruce which was planted too close is now pushing out the boulders. Is there some way to save the tree along with the wall?

Hope I've posted in the appropriate forum. Many thanks.

If it stays on your property why don't you change the direction of the wall to make room for the BS. Dry walls aren't that hard to rebuild just look at how it was constructed, because it may not be wise to transplant the BS especially if size is a deterrent.

Here is a link that might be useful: Propagating Perennials
