Making Adobe Bricks

I am wanting to build a garden fence much like this one
http://www.raftertales.com/wp-content/uploads/mediterranean-floral-wall1.jpg

It will go around almost and acre of land.
I would like it to be about 6 to 7 foot high but possibly 5. It will need to keep in my GSD(Not to mention my young children). If I was to put up a chain link (which I very very much dislike) it would have to be atleast 6' to keep her in. I figure if I have a 5' high solid fence she wont be able to see out and there for wont really thinking about jumping over (shes 24" at the shoulder).

I was doing the math (which Im terrible at btw) and Im guessing Im going to need 3,000 - 5,000 bricks (depending on size) and that can get costly quick! Seeing we only have one income we are 1st time home owners and have 2 kids we are on a tight budget.

It brought me to the idea to make my own bricks. I saw the video Im posting below and thought with a little experimenting I might be able to conjure up a good brick.

I am thinking that the size of the bricks in the video would be a good size. Maybe do two rows thick for the wall?

What is a good "recipe" for the bricks?
I read 1 part grass/straw(no longer than 3" long) 3 parts clay. Ive also heard manure which I could get free.

Im a stay at home mom so time and effort is not a problem (Im begging for something to do most of the time).

Is this cost effcient? Possible? Sane? -lol

How would good ol' Georgia clay do with this?

There are so many possibilities. First I just think the idea is fantastic. But you really need to consider your health. where are you gonna store that many brick? Our climate is humid and the bricks must be able to cure completely or they will not be anygood. I think ga clay is great but do you have a good supply, they make brick out of it every day all over the U.S.A. but they are kiln dried. so you just have so many options to consider. Good Luck James
