stone wall and walk

I just completed a project - a stone retaining wall with stairs and a walk.
when my wife first described what she wanted done, I searched the web for pictures and articles with ideas and instructions. I found some very helpful info, but not nearly as many photos as I had hoped.
So I thought I would share a couple pictures of ours in case it might give someone else help on what does/doesn't look good.

Wow, Tim, that looks really nice. It really doesn't look like a first time wall. I especially like the occasional non-flat stone in there. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us.

Thanks! Being a rookie it took FOREVER!

We changed our minds (or my wife changed my mind!) several times along the way which extended it further. The whole front yard was trashed for months, but we're very satisfied with the results.

I put a series of photos showing the process in a group here -

That looks great! THanks for the photos, I know how hard it can be to find the right ones on the web.
