I have 3 pieces of this fieldstone. I want to break them up in maybe 2 or 3 pieces for my pathway. Can anyone tell me how to do that? thanks Kim

Normally you would want to have the stepping stones as large as possible. When small, you spend your walking time looking at where you place your feet instead of looking at the garden.
I have seen stepping stone paths with stones so small you have to take ballet lessons to navigate them.

Looks about the right size to me

FYI - path goes from 6ft wide at driveway to 8ft by stairs, most of the stones are 18" x 24" to 24" x 36". We decided where to set each one by stepping naturally (me, since I'm the adult with shortest legs) and making sure large portion of stone if not center was where my feet landed. Even 6 yr old DD has no problem walking here.
