Better Homes & Garden mag on Building water features

This weeks Mag has a very nice fountain made out of a shallow barrel and a millstone.Th pump sits in the barrel, and the water bubble up through the hole in the center of the millstone. It looks simple for a novice to build. The problem is where to get a millstone. The web site has them for thousands of $. I'm wondering if I could make one out of concrete. It would be approx 30" across, and 2-3" thick. Could any expert give me directions, such a building forms, and what the weight might be.
Thanks
BritMA

A bag of concrete mix like sakrete or the like is 80lbs in weight and makes 2/3 of a cu foot concrete.

britMA, Look over at the hypertufa forum. The hypertufa can look aged relatively quickly, which would look more natural than concrete mix. --Kris

I just found this website and think their millstones are awesome. I laughed at their catch phrase... "get stoned".
