Hi folks,

I have an existing gravel parking area, which I would like to spruce up a bit, as it also serves as a sort of patio area. I am thinking about laying some flagstone over the gravel, set somewhat widely spaced apart. Cars will need to be able to park on this.

Can you tell me if this will work? Do I need to do anything special to the flagstone or subsurface, or can I just lay it down, maybe dig out the gravel a bit to set it?
