| Has anyone tried using an exposed aggregate for filler? Basically cement as the base with pea gravel for the visible top layer? |

| As long as the flagstone is on a solid reinfoirced (non-cracking) base, it looks just like flagstone with pea gravel in the cracks. IMO, it's not terribly attractive unless well done, matching some pea gravel elsewhere. |
