update on front walkway - Pics

Hi Everyone - My DH and I had been trying to figure out what to do with our front garden. Here are some pics of the before and during and ALMOST done.. lol..

Let me know what you think?
Before moving in:

After ripping out dying bushes - now it looks empty and the garden area is HUGE

During: RR ties gone in walkway area - the ones lining driveway are next. The path portion is almost done being dug out.

House with new shutters:

Almost Done: Here is the walkway laid out. We need to level them since the natural stones are dfferent depths - and then fill in with polymeric. Driveway RR ties are gone as well. YEA!! There are a few small areas/gaps that need to be filled in with some "chips."

We were going to do pavers, but I wanted a more natural look and also something a little diffrent than everyone else.
Thanks Again,
Ruth

Excellent job! The curvy path is much nicer than the straight and narrow. I like how the color of the stone compliments you house. Looks beautiful!

thanks so much muddauber. I hated the straight lines and also the rr ties. They are just so old and drab looking. We wanted something that was a little bit more modern.
