Question about concrete stain

Hi,
We are going to be putting in a new paver driveway (yeah!) which will come up against a stained/stamped concrete courtyard. The only problem is that the concrete is a dark gray and the pavers we want to use are a more natural earth tones. I know you can stain concrete but I wonder if anyone has ever stained any that's a dark gray? If I could get it more a brown tone, that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Question about concrete stain

Logic would dictate staining anything that's dark will continue to be dark unless you primed the area with a white or light color. Why don't you check with the stain folks and ask them if priming the area would lighten up the stain but ask someone who is knowledgeable not someone that wants to sell you something.
