| I go to Exshaw now and again .it is a mountain of limestone that they are grinding up and selling it as cement . There are all sizes of rocks that i could toss in my pickup .A book I read said to score these rocks by cutting with a circular saw (and proper blade) then hit the scored line a good blow with mason chisel and masons hammer to split them ..Does anyone have experience at this ? Or is there a good web site I can get info from? I also have access to feild stone of all sizes 2 inch up to 16 inches .could I split them the same way ?? As an experiment I took my 7"angle grinder with multi pupose wheel and was able to grind the limestone easilly but the feild stone just stayed the same and heated up my wheel so as to leave burn marks .. |
